jordanelle

I went to Jordanelle last Friday evening just as the snow storm hit. I fished the hailstone side between the private docks and the baot ramp. I was in probably 30 feet of water. There were two other groups out on the ice. I spoke with one of the groups and it appeared that they were not catching anything. I ended up catching 10-12 perch in the short time that I was there. The wind got to me and I gave up before it got dark. The ice seemed to be o.k. at the edges but it is getting slushy. Also, there were about 2 inches of water on the top of the ice. If you go, make sure that you wear some waterproof boots.

hi mike welcome to the site and thanks for the report

WElcome to the board Mike. You talked to Shrimpboy about both of you taking the same class at The U. I was in the shack with my grandson.

Welcome to the Utah board! That’s a unique handle doesn’t it mean “The Whopper” I’m not very fluent in spanish and if I got it worng I’m sorry.

Thanks for the report el-guapo, and welcome to BFT. That was quite a storm we had. Glad you could catch a few fish though. Good luck next time you go out.
