Anyone know if jordanelle is open and if you can launch a boat yet
Yes yu can from the personal pwc ramp you are good to go.
is the lake 100% open?
there is some ice back in the arm and alittle in some of the bays but mostly open.
only about 1/3 of the lake is Ice free.. the whole north end is iced up still. half of Rockcliff still has Ice too.
Check the camera at www.livelakeview.com. Looks froze to me.

Camera is down but yesterday all I could see was ice. I didn’t move the camera off the ramp though.
I was up there last friday and fished the pwc are. it was ice free to the south but to the north from the boat ramp to the far north was still iced over.
Still can’t launch a boat then??
Yes you can on the PWC ramp..

Jordanelle was nicknamed Lake X about 10 years. Jed Burton and I were messing around when we started calling Jordanelle Lake X in our posts.

Lake X was the name that East canyon was called before it was known for having bass in it, some thought we was talking about Jordanelle..
Sigh.
I have been somewhat in on Tomegun’s “Lake X” thing on this forum longer than you have started your assault on the English language here on BFT.
Tell you what, you call whatever you want “lake X” and I will do likewise.

You are hardly the one who “Started” Lake X. Lake X is defined by many people and means many different places to those people. I know of a few Lake X’s in Utah and 3 or 4 in Colorado, 2 in Montana, and one in Wyoming.
