I’m testing how to post pictures
at FG looks like the ice at lucerne is starting to go away again Im getting close to going there
but would like to go to deer creek one more time
I resized all the Pictures to width 1020 pixels
first I tried to drag them in that did not seem to work then I added them in at the bottom not sure what is going to happen

I’ll try to swing past Deer Creek tomorrow and see what the ice looks like.

Took a look at the ice situation today and other than Walsberg Bay and north of the Charelston Boat ramp the rest of the lake only has a few sheets of skim ice that break up when a breeze kicks up. There was a half dozen boats out trolling today.

On a side note the State Parks has changed around the Charelston ramp by removing the K-rail and installing wood post so that people can launch a boat again. I never thought that they would allow launching there again but this will open up the north end of the lake to smaller craft that don’t want to travel up from the other ramps.

Looks like we need to do some recruiting up north… between me and John, not sure we can hold off the southern army… Going to be fun trying though… Get your lines changed and hooks sharpened and your cutbait caught… Be on soon… Jeff

Count Cookie, CBP and Buckwheat the Bearded Wonder in for team North. Cookie is hyped up and shopping for cat gear upgrades. Got to keep reminding her this is not the Santee-Cooper country with 90lbs blues. I won’t be able to pack the rods in the truck she is looking at

I’ve got a clan of mooselings that can almost make a basketball team but not sure I could hold up in a fish contest  :stuck_out_tongue: the north have some pretty good competition but Craig bought a boat and I’m hoping to get mine running this year so hopefully I’ll get out more this year and get my first 30"er and get my kids on one.
