We decided to brave the deep snow and slush and give jordanelle a try today. It was a great day, no wind. We walked out away from the crowds and started. We caught small perch and planter rainbows so we moved. Caught a few more perch, some of better size. The largest being 11 inches. Also caught two more rainbow. Then the big one hit. A 23 inch brown on a very small forage minnow. I think I don’t mind slush and deep snow anymore. It was great day. I’ve always said I’d rather be luck than good.
