Left home in a snow storm. Yes we are crazy. Someone choose this week to have a week of vacation and is determined to fish every day. Hit Jordanelle as it wasn’t too far to travel. Drilled lots of holes. Fishing was slow to say the least. Only two rainbows and one brown, but the brown was worth the trip. Took a quick picture and released her to spawn. Beautiful very healthy fish. The snow quit and the sun actually came out. What more could we want.
Good Job!!! that is a nice one. Very healthy looking like you said.[fishon]
nice!!!
Great looking brown – congrats!
great fish, kudos on the release
Looks like an egg far for sure…what a HOG!!!
Hooter has appreciate that one[;)]
AND YOU PUT IT BACK…very cool, but understandable if you didn’t.
Hand claps here!
Sweet fish man. Gota love them big browns!
Good luck next time out.
should have waited to post. We just filleted the rainbow that we kept for dinner. It was 17 inches and this is what was in it’s stomach. Some of the minnows haven’t even started to digest.
I wonder what fish eat in the winter?..![]()
You should save those for bait.[sly]
Appetizers…coool![;)]
We did save the little perch for bait.
they could come in handy.
sewfish, >>>>>>>>>> You the man!!!
Great BROWN, got to love those big girls WOW !!!
Also thanks for letting her go back to do her job !!!
I also think that is why it has been so slow up there
the last few weeks is because of the perch fry, the bigger
fish have been eating real good lately [;)] everything that has came out of there has been full of the perch minnows,
But that should start to slow down real soon and the fishing will start to pick back up, I HOPE LOL!!!

!!!
Nice troutskie and I love the shades. That’s the kind of brown that makes it worth it, congrats. Off the subject sort of, my apologies, the last couple years I’ve noticed a lot of perch fry that size floating on the surface when I go out there in late April/May. Anybody know what that’s about or was it just coincidence?
Anywho, it’s nice to see that the perch are still sustaining themselves in Jordanelle. Thanks for the pics and I’m not jealous at all, I’m sure I had a much better time at work [crazy]
glad you let her go for me this summer [:P]
great fish man congrats
That is a beauty!! Congrats, I’m jealous!! Those perch reminded me of my trip to pineview last weekend. Once again great job on the catch and release.
