Up camping at Jordanelle this week so decided to do some shore fishing before launching the portabote and hooked into this 22 inch Rainbow Trout after about four casts yesterday using a 1/4 oz blue/silver KastMaster. I generally toss all of the smallmouths back but decided to fillet this guy up. Had two undigested 3 inch perch in his belly, never even seen anyone catch perch out of there before. Tried again from shore(west side by tent camping) this morning but no luck. The storm we had last night moved alot of the debris against the shore and seemed to clear up the muddy water.
Hopefully more reports to come this week once I get mobile on the reservoir with my 12 foot portabote.
