Me and a friend were fishing today and caught this fish and thought it was a carp but the little horn type things were throwing us off. Also the fish seemed to be a little beat up when it was caught. Any answers would sure be helpful, thanks.

I have another question. Will these carp start to overrun our pond?
You never know.
There’s not much carp won’t overrun. Depends on your pond too. Some community ponds get planted with grass carp that are sterile. But I think they tend to be C&R on those carp (helps keep the weeds down)
But that looks more like a common carp. Maybe been prodded with a few arrows?

If he had made a video also its CVPR,and if he weighed it also its CVWPR,I know it all sounds complicated,I know you Utah boys aren’t used to all these technical terms..
