Hey everyone I talked the wife into letting me get a little fishing boat for my birthday. I am hoping to pay maybe $300 or $400 tops. If anyone knows of one that’s available I’d appreciate the heads up.

There is a very nice little boat down the street from me for 600. It has a 18 hp sea horse. Good looking little boat, I mean VERY good looking boat. If I get a chance tomorrow I will take a picture. Ron

I’ve been checking Craigslist for the last couple of days. Have seen a couple I am interested in, but hoping someone one here knows of a little gem that is for sale, but not posted on there.

Just be careful about riveted boats. Most vintage aluminums are just that. Leaking can be a problem, and one not always easily fixed. Mike
Amen to that! We scored a14’ Gregor, now that boat is well built. Been modifying it.
Funny thing however, bought the boat for $300. then a Trailer for $400. motor we already had but $1,200. So, the boat is the least expensive of the whole deal…LOL

I forgot to say that the axle has stickers on it like it is new, and the tires look new. I do not know the person that has this boat for sale. I just thought it looked like a nice little boat. Ron

Thanks Ron that does look like a nice boat. I actually found a little 8’ Jon boat that I got for $225.00 last night that I think will work great for my first little fishing boat. Now I just need to get a little trolling motor and some seats to stick in it and I’ll be set for awhile.
