Ice fished Boyd 2-15 & 2-16, fishing was pretty slow, caught 3 on the 15 and only 1 on the 16th. There’s a lot of open water now, the south east side is open, in front of the swim beach is all open, out from the marina a ways is open and a lot of the north end. The ice in the marina is still 6 to 8 inches, and where I fished was about 6 inches but it’s starting to look soft.

No walleyes so far this year, I haven’t seen any walleyes caught thru the ice either.
it was 2 smallies and 1 trout and then 1 trout on the next day. I think the walleyes are on the move heading towards their spawning place
Have you been getting out any in the last month, if so, how is the ice holding up there?
