Gonna hit up the Jordan River after I eat dinner. I’m a very good observer and can accurately predict what kind of fish i’m going to catch on a certain part of the river. That being said, should I have a date with channel cats (one stretch of the river where they tend to be smaller channels but there’s occasional big ones and 2 really good ones that have broke my line the last 2 times. There also is a couple other back up spots to try if that spot doesn’t work out). Or there’s a totally different stretch of the river where I usually catch 3 or so 20-24 inch suckers in this one whole. The downside of the sucker spot is its the only good spot in the area and once I spooked the lonely hole, I couldn’t go anywhere else. So which spot should I go?
Get some braid and go get a big one. If you decide on the suckers, you are a lunatic!
I had the worst fishing trip of the year. I’ve gone fishing like 30 or so times this summer and not been skunked. Tonight that streak was very tested up untill the last minute. I only caught 1 and it was like the smallest mud cat I’ve ever caught 
. Today they were smacking the crap out of it and my line would shoot off and they still wouldn’t be hooked!
