I’m sitting at work, getting off at noon and trying to decide if I should hit the ice at Hyrum or go fly fish one of the canyons… Just wondering how the ice is at Hyrum right now? I checked the camera’s, looks to be a few folks out. I guess I can always just drive by and find out on my own [:P] but if anyone has a quick update, that would be great. I’m sure the ice is still thick, I’m more looking to avoid soft edges and slushy or watered covered ice surface.
fished it last Friday and ice was over 15 inches
Fished it today and had no problem getting my ATV on and off the ice.
I should have ventured out… I got home from work and realized the wife had the car with the states park pass and i didnt really want to walk down the dam haha… Should have gone. Oh well… I guess i’ll start dusting off the fly fishing equipment
