My wife and I fished Hyrum resivour Sunday. I was going to fish newton, but the low water level report scared me away. We started bright an early before the sun came up and fished until about 10:30. Surface water temp was about 72 and I think the deepest part was about 39 feet I think. There was only about one other boat on the pond untill about 9 and a few shore anglers. We trolled in all depths, but I think our most productive range was between 5 and 20 feet. We trolled some flat line and some off the down riggers. I think the flat-lining caught the most fish. In five hours we boated about 12 fish and one large mouth bass. Not much size to them, but we did keep two.
Overall a fun sunday morning.
Haha, I love the pelican pic.
Did you catch the Large mouth trolling?
Yes while trolling about 20 feet off of the south shore, I was trolling one of those vibrax minnow spinner things.
