I have never fished for Burbot before. Me and a few buddies are going to the Jigging 4 Down Syndrome Burbot Classic at the Gorge. I have never ice fished there or targeted Burbot. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to share tips on what to use and maybe where to fish. I understand that many will be going to the tournament too and if you don’t want to share that is alright by me. PM me if you want. Thanks in advance.
Standard methods for Burb is to fish after dark using a glow tubes 2-3 inch, tipped with sucker or chub meat. Fish rocky points in water depth of 15 to 50, right off the bottom. Keep you lighting low cuz bright lighting is known to make burbs spooky.

I found this video a little while ago, I’ve never fished for burbot either… but I definitely want to try it this year!
