This is how I accessorize my bait casting rigs. Not only does it “personalized” my rigs as my own it also creates a smooth transition for day & night usage. Of course you don’t have to do what i do. I consider my equipment a reflection of myself & i’m proud to fish with my own personalized gear.
All I ask is the State provide an extra 46 cent sticker I can put on my trailer tongue (tongue, how do you stop these stupid automatic symbols?) and do away with the paper that goes on my dashboard.
The paper can be blown away when doors are opened, forgotten if a buddy uses his truck to pull your boat, etc.
The sticker will always be on front of trailer and easy for LE to see.
Sometimes a guy drops his trailer in a different lot than where tow vehicle is, now the AIS document is sitting on the dashboard is separated from the boat trailer, what good does that do?
I will even round up and pay $20.50 next year.
Is an extra sticker too much to ask for?
Decal got picked up from the PO Box today.
It might of been there for a few days as my wife only visits the post office every 2 weeks or so. Putting it on the boat today and figure it will see water next week.
Test wasn’t too bad , hadn’t done it since they went to the stickers . It seemed before there were a lot more questions ? This time , what 13 questions ? I messed up a couple had to go back to redo . Waiting now for the sticker . The boat will be on the water Friday , will have the temporary if needed .
