Everywhere I went this year, I saw fewer anglers on the water.
I am sure I don’t have to guess the reason, But for clerical sake I am putting this question to the test.

Didn’t drivve as far and often.
Economy has affected my fishing very little. Loss of time due to job changes and life changes has taken a much bigger bite out of my fishing than the economy.
I’ve found that I fish way more now than ever but I do find myself fishing closer to home, and less overnight trips. I just keep the poles in the truck wherever I go.
I got a new job last year and that killed my fishing time but i tripled my income so i can’t complain to much. as for the economy no to much but we’ll see what $5+ gas dose
