Has anyone been to the rock lately.. How is the ice ??
I fisher there today.
The ice is great! 10" or more.
Snowmobiles were all over the place
The edges are solid.
The fishing sucked!

Was you after trout or perch or any thing that swims ??

We went out from the ramp.
Headed North about 600 yards.
Fished in water that was anywhere from 55’ to 9’.
Folks that were [South of the ramp] upstream and a lot closer to the inlet did better for Trout, but no reports of Perch anywhere.
I fished it a week ago Saturday in my favorite spots. Marked lots of perch at two of the six holes I drilled, but unfortunately, they all had LOCK JAW. I had to go down to Utah Lake to get my skunk off… My opinion is that they have plenty of groceries right now, and couldn’t be bothered much with bait tipped jigs. We need the population to grow there again so that there is way more competition for their food. Once that happens, the perch fishing will be killer again. How long that will take is probably a couple of years away. Let’s hope that there is plenty of spawning area for them this Spring if the lake fills…
