So how did you find Bft? let us know. was it from another site, bumper stickers, or word of mouth?

Predator (Utah forum BFT moderator at the time) sent me an email (knew me from UtahFishFinder.com) and invited me to join.
I got an email invitation from Predator, former mod and administrator. I jumped in full time after UFF imploded…September '02 I believe. (That was 2002…not 1902)
HAHA… Bassrods complaining on the DWR site about a fish that was allegedly caught and kept from Jordanelle. He linked us over. THANKS BASSRODS!! [:)]
Same answer as Kent and Pat, Predator found this site after all the problems UFF. There was a core group that Mike invited over and most of us are still here. I could be wrong but I think I was the first to join after Mike’s invite. Except for the occasional blow up here, it has been the best fishing site I have ever found on the internet, thanks in part to great moderators, thanks guys.

Wiperhunter told me about it. I hung out here for quite some time as a guest before I decided to jump in and sign up. Heck there were only 4-5 people back then coming here and posting.

I think I found out from you Petty4life. I remember a ugly green car at work with a BFT bumper sticker. Travis
I was ice fishing at Causey and a guy fell in an ice hole and got wet and cold. People were laughing and poking fun at him. As he came by where I was fishing he offered my a BFT sticker and said his name was petty4life.
Seemed like a good guy at the time.
Word of mouth from ALAN, around 3 years or so. In those days I went my mikecroamine.
I heard about it from my brother DMR about 2 1/2 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. DMR has since moved to Colorado and still checks in on the board often to live through our fishing adventures.
