Me and my friends are from Los Angeles but usually go to redondo, seal, or balboa pier. We havent caught anything big ever in the 4 years. Biggest I caught was a 6-7 inch halibut at redondo that we had to throw back. the rest we caught was mackerels. We’re into salt water fishing because of financial and transportation reasons.
in that case you may want to check out the saltwater forum.. I am sure there are anglers there that could help you and your friends out with any questions you may have..
