I gave some info on the other Henry’s post. Last year they were hitting several different types of panther martins on opening day. The standard worm and marshmellow combo also works.
Steelfisher’s wife caught a ten pounder on a plain worm so while I still think fly fishing is the most effective way there certainly are plenty of other ways to catch them.
