Has anyone heard from Lance (Cowboy Pirate) & clan about the fire that’s near Henefer & E Canyon? I could flames from the interstate as me and a fishing partner was passing thru early in the dark hours of last Monday am. The return home trip we saw a pair of helicopters heading to Echo Res for water.
Yes, I sent him a text a few days ago and he, cookie and buckwheat are fine. They had to relocate, until the fire danger was over, they could be back home by now but I haven’t heard.
They were back home on Wednesday, even though the evacuation order hadn’t been lifted yet, when I contacted him. He is hoping to be back on the forum once school starts and he is finished with his high country ranching duties.
He sure doesn’t post much compared to how much he used to. He used to post at least a couple of times a week. I haven’t seen anything from him in weeks. I enjoyed watching he videos too.
He told me that he has been working on a remote ranch this Summer and hasn’t been out fishing but as soon as school starts back up, next week, that will change.
I see that a toad-strangler storm just passed right over the fire area (3 pm Friday). Hope it drowned out most of that fire. Best wishes to Lance.
