Coming to SC for my sons graduation. Never been to SC before. I always wanted to catch a Peacock bass but after doing some research I guess SC is not the place(?).
Anyways, I think I will be near Myrtle Beach. My visit is in August and I was hoping to try some fishing off of a pier. I am open to other ideas from fellow BFT members.
I am from Utah but am experienced in panfish, trout, bass, and walleye. I would just enjoy catching anything.

Glad you’re able to get some fishing in while you’re visiting. If you want, check out the thread a couple down from yours on this board, titled: “help fishing in Myrtle Beach.” or something like that. I did a fairly detailed general info response that should get you on the right track. Look through that, and hit me up with any specific detail type questions you may have. I also know some good charters if you’re interested in that, as well.
