Fished it Monday and did pretty well. Two browns and they rest bows. Fly fishing was out due the wind-nothing rising at all and tried underneath but again too windy. We trolled with pop-gear with a worm and our average fish was 20". Bright red meat-excellent taco dinner Monday night!!!
That was my first time on Hebgen-I hit Flathead lake earlier this yr and I’m really starting to love MT’s lakes! We rocked the lake trout in June.
Thanks for the report, I will be there in a couple of weeks, but I fly fish. Hope I can get into them.
