Have boat will travel.

Looking for a retired fishing partner with the time and desire. Please PM.

I have posted several times for fishing partners and got very little in response. I am retired, live on east side near I-215, about 5400 south. I have a Fish-N-Ski that hardly gets used. Son and Son-in-law always too busy to fish. Retired to SLC in 2002 and have not met many that want to fish, so I am interested. I have fished Jordanelle, Rockport, East Canyon and Strawberry, and one week on Lake Powell two years ago. Never been on Willard, so would love an introduction. Also, have never done much trolling, so could learn that art as well. We could take turns on each other’s boat.

I too am retired, sold my boat last year because it was too expensive too take it out alone. I have some knowledge of all the boating lakes in Utah and would be happy to help pay. I’m not sure how to PM, never done it.

That’s a nice walleye you have in your profile picture Hutch.

Hi Hutch 2.
I am also retired and an obsessed fisherman. I live in Heber, and am looking for a fishing buddy. I don’t have a boat but have trailblazer that will pull one. I will fish for anything that swims, but prefer something large. The berry is my favorite right now, but like catfish, bass, walleye, etc. I’m open to fish 7 days.(one at a time or consecutively). Ha,ha.

Oh boy do I have time. And overly obsessed with fishing. I’m retired and live in Heber. I would fish a mud puddle if there was a chance there was something swimming in it! Please reply and we can fish, joke, tell stories. And did I mention fish.
Thanks, CaptBlood. :blowfish:

After June 3rd, I will be retired and looking for fishing partners who can fish during the week. I enjoy fishing for everything except perch don’t do much for me. I purchased an annual Idaho fishing license, so I also plan on hitting Idaho more this year and especially going after the sturgeon several times. Keep in touch.

Well, I too have more time than fishing partners. I just traded in my 17ft. Crestliner for a 21ft. Weldcraft (see pic of Monster Red) and now have plenty of room. I am hoping to head out to Flaming Gorge Wednesday and/or Thursday due to the perfect weather and need to land more lakers. Strawberry should be ice off next week, and I love Starvation too. I really want to try Walcott Lake in Idaho..so many places, so little time.

Sweet boat Bob!

Very nice boat. I do a lot of pontoon fly fishing on Strawberry and other lakes, but would love to fish Flaming Gorge and other lakes from a boat. I will keep in touch with you when I have some time in May and see if we can hook up.

Bob, were you at the gorge April 8&9? If not someone has your boat twin.

Best approach is to post a thread with the dates you wish to go and someone will reply, I have done this several times and seems to work well. I am lucky to have every other Friday off to head up to the gorge when the freezer is running low.

Yes I was there the 8th and 9th

I must say I had a moment of boat envy when I saw it docked at Lucerne.

Well, the boat may be pretty, but my fishing was ugly those two days…[frown]

We didn’t do so well ourselves http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=973042;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;page=unread#unread

Keep in mind though you are probably getting used to your new boat that is set up a bit different than your old one and things will get better with more trips/practice. Plus it was just slow overall, so don’t worry about it.
