Besides, with a 13’ rod (rubbing it in Mac) I can get that thing out there 
hey now.. be nice sis.. but.. with that same 13’ rod you can sneak up to that same bank in your tube or toon and do some dapping and see what happens..

I don’t think this rod will go out on the toon/tube. For one thing, the handle is too long for the rod holder and probably me sitting down.
Strictly shore fishing, or shallow wading.

not sure how your area is.. but on several of the lakes I fish.. where a rod like that would give me some extra distance etc.. there are also lots of reed beds that a long rod like that could be used to do some dipping/dapping and use those same reeds as cover so at to not spook any fish..

Absolutely. But you don’t have to put yourself out, if you’re already obligated to some other swaps. What colors do you want and about what size?
Blue is the color here in the Damsel smaller sizes and I guess green in the larger Dragon. With some Black and White ones at times.
I will tie you some flies tomorrow to try out.
