I was able to get on the hardeck for the first time this season with my family today at Palisades. Ice is a good 3-4" of clear with a couple more cloudy inches on top. Fishing was pretty good, but no real size to anything today. Caught 9 between the four of us in a little over an hour of fishing. Everything we tried seemed to work pretty well. Good start to (hopefully) a good year.
