Looking for any ideas on where on the All Might Jordan river to catch some suckrs. Never targeted them so any advice will help. I do have a good idea, drift crawlers, salmon eggs and what not. Thanks for the help guys and gals![fishon]
Worms on the bottom have produced alot of suckers, if your looking to catch alot and dont mind a drive on the sevier river below yuba damn every time we go it produces alot of suckers, but also has alot of other game fish, a few years back i even landed a 17 inch cutthroat and plenty of perch and channel cats occasional carp
Nice… I saw a lot of em down there on the duck hunt. I want to catch em close to home on the Jordan. Are you drifting the worms or letting them sit on the bottom?
Just put an ounce weight on and let it drift down into the hole and wait for the action to start… on the jordan i have caught them off of 41st south and redwood road and farther down by 21st south but i dont know if i was trespassing or not down there.

Good luck to you i went to the jordan a couple weeks ago and caught the suckers and carp on 41st hope you get what your hoping for they were biting sparadictly but when they did they hit hard. Have fun
They are everywhere in there. I forgot to post up my reports. There would be more than even the Twins could post up. HaHa They wouldnt like it if I out did them on posts on a local water. Right off of 4800 South and about 500 west on the west side of the river is a fenced off area with a small access point. Park there. They have just dredged it out. You cant miss it. That big area is chock full of em. There it doesn’t matter if you wight it down to prevent movement or allow it to move around still weighted though. I have caught quite a few dropping my crawler in submerged shrubs with fast water right next to it. Here is a pic of one eyed willy that I caught in the open area. It is especially good right before the sun sets and about 1/2 hour after. Hope that helps. Another good spot I frequent is the park there by Winchester.

Come on lazy boy (it aint just a chair), excuses, excuses, excuses! Just make a weeks worth of trips in a single post. I did that when I hit the Sandy pond every day last year.
I have fished that side once and while ticking bottom with a heddon sonar lure I have felt a few nibbles there. Walk along that side long enough and you will think you are on the provo river, very pretty stretch along the JR.
I have been following this thread as I want a Sucker too! Sounds like ya know them well enough that we should head down there for a small evening session or two LoanFish.
BTW that fish in the 1st pic looks like it wants a kissy wissy!
