I hate posting these kind of trips but I feel obligated to do it…<br /><br />Since my wife was gone this afternoon I thought I'd try and find some crappie. Put in at HBSP at 11:30 and fished until about 3:30. Should have stayed at home. I fished docks mostly and only caught 4 crappie, 1 drum, and 1 shellcracker. The good news is my boat ran fine as I just had some work done on the engine a couple weeks ago. It was sort of windy out there and maybe I got more bites than I saw but the water temp was around 75 or 76 and that should be excellent right now for the crappie. Maybe I'm just out of practice. emoBang
