Headed to Wyoming and going right past Fontenelle, I was wondering if it might be worth it to take my stuff. Anybody have anything on the place? Ice contitions or Fishing updates? it would be a great help. Ive never fished it, I do know that there are some big macks in there, well I have heard!!!
Fontenelle is NOT a “Big” Mack resevior. There may be a few but it is not the right type of resevior to have many. The depth of the res does not allow big macks to go deep in the summer to avoid the heat. Fontenelle also does not have an abundant forage base like other waters to produce big macks, even if the water was deep enough.
Oh ya like you said Fontenelle is in Wyoming, maybe you should ask on the Wyo board also.
