Fly fishing team USA is having another friendly competition in Utah. We are again looking for volunteers to watch the comp anglers, and record their catches. This is a friendly competition that I am putting together, with no winnings. The idea is to have a competition to help keep Team USA at the top of their game. As a team, we are constantly trying to improve, and constantly competing helps that cause.
This will be held on a private stretch of the Provo River, and on Smith and Morehouse reservoir. The lake venue will be fished from boats, so if you are a lake controller you will be asked to row some. On the river, you will be assigned to a beat, and you will get to watch how different anglers approach the water, and learn their confidence techniques. The competition is scheduled for July 18th and 19th, 2008. That is a friday and saturday. We will need help for 2 sessions per day.
