I am wanting to get an ice fishing trip up to flaming gorge this winter but have never fished it. any tips on good spots and bait to use would like to target burbot and a few trout.

The only ice this year is way up at the north end. Do a search (top right of page) for flaming gorge, burbot and you will find plenty of info to start out with.
