Can someone give an update on ice conditons? Any chance I could launch a boat out of Lucerne or Sheep Creek this weekend and fish the southern part of the lake?

As of yesterday morning: Guide tried to launch his boat at Lucerne to run engines, and couldn’t get enough of them in the water to fire them up.
TarponJim is right. Everything on the lake is iced up except for the Dam area. That area is open to Gold Point. Perhaps by the end of next week, with high temps and wind. Lets just wait. If you prefer to call yourself and confirm just in case, here are two numbers for future reference:
