Flaming Gorge 8/29

Fished south of Buckboard Sun morning. Started about 6:30 , had a hard time finding any quality fish for the first hour or so, but finally found some that would cooperate. Using orange spinners and squids from Red Rock tackle Co, about 12 in. behind thier flashers. Caught 11 kokes, before the wind came up at 9:30 and blew us off the water. The larger kokes(4lb er"s) are full blown red, the 2 1/2 to 3 lb are still silver but some have a tint of red. We released all the red ones and only kept some silver males.

Nice post.
May I ask what kind of cut bait you’re tipping your squid with?

Using gulp maggots, the natural color and putting the scent on the flashers.

Interesting. Thanks!
