got out early yesterday morning, hoping to catch a few after such a dismal day on Saturday. ran some bluffs with a pro shimmy jig and the new MOAB buzzbait from True South Custom Lures. I just got the buzzbait in the mail Thursday with some more skirted tungsten punch weights. caught several along the bluffs with the pro shimmy and the smallies mashed that LOUD buzzbait. none of the fish I caught were real big but it was fun and playing with the new buzzbait was interesting, its the loudest buzzbait I think ive ever thrown. I did run the edge of some grass near deeper water hoping to get a big bite on the MOAB but nothing. broke down and started flipping the grass and chucking the frog around a bit, did stick one on the frog. fun morning before going in for breakfast.
