I am heading to ElevenMile this weekend to try my hand at flyfishing in the Dream Stream between Elevenmile and Spinney.
I could use any suggestions you may have.
Fish the section below the bridge if you want to catch big ones,you can use nymphs in large sizes cause the fish are fresh out of 11-mile and not as smart as the ones above.However, if you are a glutton for punishment and must use size 20-24 drys then go above with the rest of the flailers.
Thanks for the advice. what is a good time to fish this location? also, I could use some advice for the Big Thompson river.
Right now!!! The big thompson has 12 in. trout,the dream stream has 12LB trout-nuff said!
