Not LB but plan to hit one of the rivers to stock up on white bass this weekend.
Hit Mill Race last Saturday only getting a few in three hours. Moved to the Provo inlet and got a couple dozen in just under an hour. They should be stacked in there pretty good in the days to come.
a_bow_nut, I’m hoping to get down there on Sunday for white bass as well. This is my first time targeting them or fishing Utah Lake. I appreciate the info on Mill Race and Provo inlet. Hopefully we’ll all have some success this weekend.
catchinon, I only have a small aluminum boat that can’t hold the whole family or kayaks for the whole crew. Since it’s mother’s day we’ll probably bank tangle or drag the kayaks down.
Can either of you tell me if the fishing is decent mid-day through late afternoon?

Ben, I guess I should have been more assertive or something but they had boats all over the harbor when I was there. I went to Provo and had good success except, once again, the cats ran small. I caught five 21.5"ers amongst a dozen I boated for example. I did catch a 28" for a one inch bump. I only caught one cat out of four that bit.
Kent, I wish I could have met up with you Saturday but I ended up spending the day with my wife.
