fish4thepeck, Dale Hollow, smallmouth/walleye, 6/6 thru 6/9, Thomas/Audie

Had a real good trip to the Holler fishing with two of my friends Thomas and Audie. Thomas is the manerger at Horse Creek and Audie is a world renown Bear Hunter from Gatlinburg. I got over there Saturday afternoon and went out by myself for a few hours and caught some on a sppok before dark and then caught some at night after calling it quits around midnight. Thomas and Audie joined me Monday night and we smoked them pretty good all night and then had the same luck for a couple of hours after daylight throwing topwater. We had the same results Tuesday. We caught around 30 each night. The fish are up now making them pretty easy to catch coming in 6 to 12 feet of water. We threw jigs and soft plastics in dark colors along with spinnerbaits and spook jrs. for the topwater bite. We also caught a few Walleyes.
If any of you guys have never been to Dale Hollow I recommend it highly. Horse Creek can accommadate your needs. With the economy in dire straights it's a great place to spend your vacation. The fishing is as good as it gets right now and I look for this to continue all the way thru July. It's also a great place to carry the family for some sking and swimming or just kicking back and taking in the scenery. If your not an experienced fisherman Thomas can hook you up with a guide.
I would recommend Dusk to Dawn Guide service/ Greg Brisendine. He can show in one night what it would take a month on your on. Tennessee has some great lakes we are lucky to live so close to some of the best fishing in the world.
