Made it up to Fish Lake tonight to check the ice. It was dark so I didn’t get a great look, but…The marinas were iced over and the south end in the shallows had ice–I don’t know how thick I walked out just a little ways on it but didn’t drill–there were two holes that had been previously drilled right at the mouth of the lakeside marina.
BUT it looks like the main part of the lake is still open water. There was open water right up to the entrance of the marina at the lodge.
It was 2* when we were leaving at just after 7 so hopefully the wind stays down the next couple days so we can get some ice before I have to head back north.
