Has anybody ever stayed at any of the rental cabins at Fish Lake? These are the ones I have been looking at:

For those who have stayed there, how was it?

We did the “Aspen” this weekend. one of the Lodge area cabins. It was clean and comfortable. I would go there again, they are well equiped for cooking, wood for burning and room to move around.
The prices are CRAZY low! I like the looks, but lost me with the no pets. Baxter would never let us go without him
lol,my sister inlaw babysitted my pup this weekend
Stayed in the Makinaw every winter for 10 years. The first night is full price, then half off for every night thereafter. If you stay 3 nights the price is VERY reasonable. Split the cost with 3-4 guys and your trip will be under $100.
Ya I agree with everyone else nice cabins for a good price. I was up there this weekend too. Bring your own paper towels though.
Awesome. This is all great ammo to convince my wife to go down for our anniversary.

we stay in the a-frame cabins right behind the main lodge. very nice, lots of room and comfortable for 5 guys. prices are outstanding also. headed down there in 2 weeks. ![]()
My wife and I were there about a week ago and stayed in the Pinewood unit. They have electrical heat and a wood stove. Like the other guy said, you stay two nights and get the second for half the rate so the total was about $186.00. Bring your own food and you’ll be set. Don’t plan on spending a lot of time watching TV as the set is about the size of a small computer monitor. Other than that, it was fine.
Do they have pots and pans and stuff to cook with inside too?
The cabins are pretty warm then, I’d take it, with the electric heaters AND a wood burning stove?
