The other cup holder had my coke and rum haha… Nothing like some cracken good stuff haha… Hoping to have the system done tonight then it’s just a matter of mounting the second battery and running new battery cables and the switch… I love building crap lol

No the birds arent the best, they are one of the best though.. its alllll personal preference, and what u want.. I had humminbird and now I have lowrance, I like lowrance alot better. 2 completely different setups

I forget which model number but the guy at bass pro was trying to sell me a low unit… It had a $300 rebate or something and he said it was a better unit in his opinion… But then he went on to tell me about this 360* transducer that hummingbird is releasing this year that’s just insane so I went with the bird in hopes of getting that new transducer later this year when it comes out…
either way, they are both good, I just prefer lowrance… u might get alil more bang for ur buck with a humminbird.
Fish finder worked great!!! Just took the boat out for the first time it ran like a champ and everything worked great.. Started out real nice and headed to the wash, only fished for about 20min and the winds kicked up… What a wet and wild ride all the way back!!! Scared my kids with 4ft swells crashing over the boat haha… It was fun thou… Next stop willow, gotta put in some work down there… And figure out how to read my fish finder haha…

There is a new update out for your HB. I just found it. I am 99% sure it was uploaded to HB’s website today but the release date on the file is 12 Mar. (I check regularly for updates.) If you haven’t already you need to register your unit on Humminbirds website to be able to get it.
