put in at the riverpark ramp around 10:00. dad hooked up on a drum right off, and that seemed to set the tone for the day; we caught them all day long. somehow in between we managed to get a couple of keeper spots. we threw crank, spinner, and jerkbaits…tubes, jigs, mini beavers and grubs. with the exception of a few drum on the beaver, the jig ruled. water temp was 47 degrees, and the spots were down river. no smallmouth today. better luck next time.
