I agree salmotrutta, kokanee salmon is pretty tasty. We cooked some up a couple of years age up at flaming and it was pretty darn yummy. My fishin buddy is up there now and he said he’d bring some back. I cant wait YUMMY!

screwed up that first reply so I’ll try it again. most salmon in the local markets are farm raised salmon and I love to eat them also but the wild salmon are from the wild and are usually have a little bit firmer meat and stronger taste which if you like salmon that’s a good thing. Wild Salmon is marked as such on the package and is a bit pricier. Farmed salmon are feed something to pigment their meat so it looks pink. They say the wild is alot more healty for you. Kind of like Elk compared to beef. Diffent amono acids and ecciental fatty acids.
