Farmington with my daughter

I took my little girl up to Farmington pond today for an hour. She had a great time up there digging in the dirt and reeling in fish. She was so excited to use her very own pole. She ended the day with 4 caught out of 6 hooked and 13 misses. It took her a minute to figure out how to hook them. Green power bait on a salmon egg hook with a crimped barb made for easy hook removal.

And she is still scared when they flip around on the line lol

That’s the beginning of her best day with dad. Little girls need great dads.

There’s nothing better than seeing a little girl get real excited about catching fish. My married daughters still talk about the times I took them fishing when they were little. Great memories!
