Echo - Never Been, need info..parking/fishing/etc

Going to hit Echo tomorrow (wed) mainly because I have never been there. Will be heading up Weber canyon. Can anyone tell me just exactly how to get to the lake as well as where to park, what to expect as far as the parking goes…and most of all…where the good fishing is?
Always appreciate your help.
Thanks

The parking for the lake is on the east side, there are several pull offs for parking. I would fish near the damn. The fishing has been slow for the past couple of weeks. Use small tube jigs tipped with perch meat. If you are after perch fish about two feet off the bottom in 30-50 feet of water. If you are after trout fish 6-15 feet in 20-35 feet of water and you may get a few that will hit on the bottom. Good Luck

Going up weber canyon take the evanston junction(hang a left) and get off the first exit. Take a right at the stop sign and that will take you to the east side past the dam and the length of the lake. We fished past the marina on the south end in 42’ of water and did very good for nice perch and some decent trout fished right on the bottom. A few trout came through suspended and if you reeled up to them fast enough you could catch them.:sunglasses:

Take the Coleville exit, turn left off the ramp and head into town, turn left again onto Main Street and follow for a couple of miles and then park at one of the several pullouts next to the lake. The last pullout is maybe 200 yards from the dam.

I went yesterday and it was terribly slow. In 2 hours I had 4 strikes and 1 fish that I lost at the hole. I only saw 2 other people catch anything.
