Got to Echo at 10:30 and fished until 12:30. We fished down in the curve of the dam in 30 feet of water and it was slow. We got one 17 inch bow, and nothing else. The ice was 6-7 inches thick with no slush at all.
Got to Lost Creek at 1:30 and fished until 3:30. We fished on the far side of the dam (from the parking lot), and we pulled in 5 cutts from 13-16 inches. The ice there was around 5 inches with no slush either. Fished in 30 feet of water there also. We caught all of the fish on ratzos and grubs tipped with meal worms.
Nice fish, how’s the rest of the ice look at Lost Creek and how is the road up to the damn?
Nice weather and peaceful day, not so great catching.
Lost creek ice looked a little sketchy in places, I wouldn’t venture too far away from the dam. The road up there is just fine. You could get there in a car easy.
