I live up in Logan and don’t wont to waste a trip to see if there is ice on E. Canyon. Has anyone been up there to check it out?
Not safe…thats for sure. EC is deep lake, takes quite a bit to cool it off and freeze solid
Fished East canyon today there is plenty of ice south of taylor hollow by the dam and at marina the lake is covered but the center looks bad we fished just down from talyor hollows parking area 4" of ice and fishing was excellent for 12" to 14" fish in 20’ to 40’ of water.
Theres a dam south of taylor Hollow?? You talking out from the big rock? toward the inlet right. The dam would be north, but all open water between the dam and talyor hollow thats for sure
We fished down the hill where restroom and parking area is north of big rock were I think your talking about there was no open water but it is freshly formed clear ice won’t last very long with no coat weather like it was today.
