Well the fish hogs have taken out most if not all the bigger bass so if you like small ones have fun…

You should be fishing the coolest water you can find. “Bank Access” is limited wich makes for some trophy smallies on 70% of the lake. Being in a boat will increase your chances for bigger fish. I would reccommend a brown grub or brown crankbait. Bass angler’s release our bass because we consider them holy.[:)]

Rocky shores with soft plastics rigged in various manners has been the ticket for me. Nothing huge, but I usually get at least a couple over 12"-14" range in the couple hours after work. Haven’t found a consistent depth at which the fish are holding. Water temps vary throughout the lake and thus bigger fish hold at different depths throughout the lake. Thats my take anyhow.
fished it from daylight to about 1230 on the 24 only a few over 12" but a ton under that used crankbaits and top water for most of them we sat in 12’ of water and most bits were in 8’. drop shot worked when the cranks didn’t with a robo worm. most of mine came from something else but I’m not going to post that as I have a tournament up there next weekend.
