Wanting to catch some smallies at east canyon. Where do I fish and what tactics lures etc ? Thanks for any help.
Wacky rigged senko worms are my go to for SMB’s at East Canyon. They’ll hit all sorts of lures like kastmasters and rapalas, and flies like woolybuggers, and poppers.
They’ll smack a big white Rooster-tail, too.

The only couple times I have gotten into smallies at EC is during the spawn by the inlet or off the cliffs every once in a while sight casting… Where are good areas to fish them, depth distance from shore parts of the lake, etc? I would really like to target them more!
