Do you know what happened with the plans to seal off the leaking tunnel with concrete and be done with the water in the mine issues?
yeah the price of coal went up and insted of closeing the mine they stepped up production!!
the power plant down river is not to happy about it.. but as long as they don’t have the stop power production they will wait for the mine to close..
the year before last the power plant was about to close because of the water was getting so low in the lake that they could not get the water they need to feed the plant and alow so much to go down river for inviramental reasons acording to there contract with the state and water user’s..
the geart water year last year was what they needed and the mine need it as well.. don’t fix the problem tho just prolongs it is all..
