I am seriously like a perch ice fishing crack fiend. Not looking good down south. Starting to twitch and need a fix. Couple of bad water years have hampered populations and I might need a road trip. Anyone else feel the same?
Take a boat to CJ and pretend.

Ice is poor and fishing is slow, might as well get the boat out.
Don’t know where you’re from or how bad you need a fix, but Montpelier reservoir has 10+ inches of good ice and the perch fishing is just dead easy right now. Fast as you can get it down. The average size isn’t the best though, 6-9" average.
I fish edit yesterday and today with my little girls and they had a blast.
That would work for me! Maybe hit chesterfield and the hot tubs in lava and stay overnight. Thanks for the tip
