diamond fork help

A buddy and I are heading to diamond fork this week.only been there once and did ok.2 on the lower and 3 on the upper areas.just was wondering what is a good fly to use. Going to start at the lower end and after a couple hrs going to go above the cap ground.had anyone fished it this yr yet?thanks for any info

The couple of times I went I stuck with BH Prince in sizes 8-12. They seemed to like the bigger ones but that was in mid July.

Size 10 bh prince is my go to fly. Bring along some stone fly patterns. Have been out of town but I bet the salmonflies are done where most people fish- take some just in case you run into some higher up.

+1 on the prince. Dropping a small pheasant tail or hare’s ear will produce even a few more strikes. Good luck.

I want to thank you all for the info I will post how i do on Friday or sat with pics and details on my trip
